Blackboard Collaborate

 

• What is it?  Blackboard Collaborate (version 12.6) is an online, interactive environment used to provide real-time instruction and collaboration. K12 school administrators, teachers, learning coaches, and students can all utilize the tool as a method for virtual/distance learning. 
   

• How do you reach it?   There are 3 ways to reach a session.
  1) An outside link can be sent to you to join a session. These would be things like staff meetings, state testing trainings, VNTT live session, and more.
  2)  A link created within the online school that you have created for your live ClassConnect sessions. The system will also invite your students to join.
  3)  Links that you have been invited to the online school by another teachers or staff members. 
   

• How do I set it up?  This will be part of your Virtual New Teacher Training (VNTT) - Class Connect Basics VNTT.
   

• Technical instructions for first session:  
  All staff and families will need to download BbC Launcher to get started with the live sessions.  Please follow one of the below documents to get started.
